- Recruiter reached out to me, had a great (if not slightly rushed/fast paced) talk, included details about compensation and benefits
- Connected with engineering manager, scheduled a video non technical interview
- Spent most of the non technical interview talking about automation testing instead of UI/frontend development. I asked about expected time spent on testing vs actual development and was given the response of "majority automation testing until 'onboarded' and 'familiar with codebase', then 70/30 (dev/automation testing)".
- Did not talk at all about any frontend technology used, nor the actual tech stack
- Did not proceed further as this was more of a test position than a UI position, despite what job description and recruiter discussed
