I applied online with a referral. Shortly after I had a call with the recruiter and then was moved on to a phone call with two hiring managers. I had an in-person interview about two weeks after that. It lasted 2.5 hours and I talked with 9 different people. I did not hear from the recruiter after the interview was setup by the coordinator. I didn't even hear from the recruiter after the interview regarding when I should expect to hear back. I followed up with her 6 business days after the interview, and was told that one of the hiring managers was on vacation, and she would get back to me in four days. She didn't. I received an automatic rejection email a week later. I understand recruiters are busy people, but I would have at minimum expected a personalized email from her given I made it to the last step of the interview process. It felt like they were heavily screening for culture fit, and I connected well with everyone, but in the end they went with someone who already had experience in renewals.
