In response to my application, I received an email from HR with a question asking for additional detail on a prior role. On providing the email response, I received another email to do a one-sided video interview which would have to be recorded and submitted. Given today's privacy issues, I requested a regular video / in-person interview instead. I did not hear back initially, so I followed up once again via email, hoping to get a response actually written by a human. However, in response I received a boilerplate templated rejection message of moving forward with other 'more suitable candidates'. Had the process been handled with a courteous response, I would have much appreciated. Such handling which places no value on a relationship does not bode well in my opinion on how they will handle employees.
