Applied online, the job posting clearly said that some one will read every resume. Actually they did read it and I was sent a questioner to fill out. Had a bunch of them and I filled out by spending about 10 to 14 working hrs. Some one got back to me and had a ~ 30 mins interview on the phone. Then had a second phone one with the same person. Was asked a lot on how this works, how that works etc. The questions are posted very very fast pace. Then was invited on site, started with a presentation. Went ok, not a total flop, not a great one. Then had the full day interview, one thing that I clearly saw was that if you have a PhD you have some scope. If you have a BS/ MS then you will work for the Phd and never move to next step. Had 1 on 1 with about 8 people, same sort of questions. Also many of them were very rude, and they do not care about anything, use what ever it takes attitude.

Long but fair. Started with an HR interview where I was asked standard questions as well as a time where I had to solve a technical problem and the steps I took to do so, then a 2nd phone interview with a manager who was friendly and polite. I was asked a combination of questions from what I am looking for in a job culturally,, behavioral questions, and some very straightforward technical questions pertaining to LEDs and semiconductors. I am preparing for my 3rd interview now and was told to expect 4 total before an offer. All the interviews are still over the phone, none in person. For the 3rd interview I have been asked to prepare a 30 minute presentation on research or a project I have completed and to expect 30 minutes of follow up questions from 3-4 R&D managers.
