The interview was conducted online with two team leads, one kept their camera off the entire time, while the other appeared in sweats. There were occasional connectivity issues on one interviewer’s side, and when I asked for clarification, he seemed visibly irritated. At points, the questioning became fast-paced and intense, almost like an interrogation, including questions that didn’t align with my experience or referenced aspects of the role that weren’t available online. It was unclear what was expected and what the role actually entails. Additionally, the take-home assignment materials were confusing, with broken links and an incorrect job title.
