On initial application, I registered my interest and was sent a lengthy application pack to complete which consisted of the basics I.e. Employment history, education, criminal records, additional qualifications etc and then it went into competency based questions, based in the essential criteria. You are given a blank piece of paper and asked to write about an example of how you have met the competency they are looking for.
