After applying, I was set up with a 60-minute technical and behavioural interview remotely with a few of the engineers and managers at Westpac. I was asked questions regarding on what I did in my current role and the tech stack that I used, as well as questions related to the design of RESTful API's, Java fundamentals, and data structures etc.
After a few days following the interview, I received feedback that although all of the interviewers felt very positive about me overall, they decided to move forward with a different applicant for the time being as his skillset and experience matched closer to what they were hiring.
