What to say…hmm.
The interviewers, two members of management, were 15mins late, and seemed annoyed that I was still there waiting for them in the Zoom meeting. They didn’t apologise for being late at all, not that it’s a big deal other than I got the impression that had the shoe been on the other foot (ie had I of been late) then they would have made me suffer and perhaps might have taken pleasure from doing so. Could be wrong…but see below.
They seemed sort of unprofessional and seemed to want to pick holes in everything I was saying. Once or twice is understandable, part of normal interviewing, but on nearly all answers to questions seemed kinda odd. It came across as very aggressive. A strange and somewhat unpleasant experience.
Expect to be questioned on general policy and current affairs and be ready to provide examples of research capabilities. Explain how well you work in a team and what you expect from management.
