Entrevista
Most scheduling and half of the communication is through their recruitment bot, Sofia. The interview experience started good then slowly went downhill. I sense a huge lack of respect for candidates.
1st interview; internal recruiter online. Basic questions about my experiences and seeing if my skills match the job description. Very professional.
2nd interview: Was in person at their Tokyo office. This was a language test to see if I can read and write Japanese. It was a written test on paper. I thought the test was kind of odd, but chatting with the hiring manager and team member was pleasant.
3rd interview: With the Regional Manager online. Interview was cancelled and rescheduled day before. Interviewer was late and unprepared. Also, asked me unrelated questions like "how old are you?" Very unprofessional.
I then was ghosted for 3 months and only got an official rejection via an automatic email after following up with them 2,3 times.
It was a horrible experience and I'm glad it didn't work out. When I spoke with the team, they said their job was 'very boring' anyways.
