      Entrevista

      Screening interview, a take-home, and then 3 hour interview with 5 people. The issue is that during the three-hour interview, they didn't actually ask me anything about my skillset or background. Also not a very diverse-team.

      Entrevista

      I utilized an internal referral for the position which allowed me to skip the initial recruiting phone screener. So the first step was a 30 minute Google Meet with one of the hiring managers for the team. It went well so I advanced to the written assignment, which consisted of 6 questions. Passed the assignment so went onto what they call a "remote onsite". This was a 3 hour time commitment in which I met 1:1 back to back with 6 individuals from the team for 30 minutes each and then a 15 minute wrap up with a recruiter. Following the remote onsite, I received an email from the recruiter with the subject, "Next Steps with Wealthfront". This email was to schedule a phone call. When on the phone, the recruiter informed me that I would not be advancing and that because of policy, she could not share the reason why. My biggest reason for the negative review was because of the recruiters email subject being so misleading. This was absolutely unacceptable! I emailed her back stating this and was met with a "thanks for your feedback" response. Using the words "next steps" implied moving forward so the response from the recruiter on the phone was shocking. It's a shame because the individuals I met with were all very pleasant so my negative review is not reflected of them personally. This whole experience took about a month. I understand that a company wants to vet a candidate enough to make sure they fit enough with the company, but I feel like 7 the Wealthfront interview process strung me along without on offer even though my direct experience was that of the job I was applying for.
