The first interview was quick and felt awkward and unprofessional. The interviewer was distracted by his cell phone and didn't pay much attention to me while I spoke or presented my portfolio. I figured that was the end of it but then 2 weeks later I received a design test. The completed test then led to bringing me back in to meet the team a few weeks later, which went well and made me believe I was going to get an offer. A while later and multiple follow up messages, I got a generic rejection e-mail with no explanation. The whole process felt like a long, drawn-out mind game.

Entrevista
I interviewed with the recruiter, which was then followed a week or so later by an interview and portfolio review with the hiring manager. I got an email stating I was moving to the next round and met with the entire team for a portfolio review, as well as two 30 minute interviews with two other team members.
I followed up with the recruiter after the final round stating how excited I was and that WeWork was definitely my first choice. I received an offer elsewhere and quickly told the recruiter.
She responded saying the team was incredibly excited about me and that the process would move very quickly from there. I have since followed up 3 times and have never received a rejection or any follow up from WeWork.
I was incredibly excited about the role, so it was a huge let down to make it 5 interviews in and not even receive an email back.

Entrevista
Overall, the interview process was pretty straight-forward with only a few miscommunications in between. After applying online, the recruiter reached out to me via email to set up an initial phone call. The recruiter was able to give me a run-down on the position, company, and gave me time to ask questions. Since I was applying while employed, the recruiter also asked why I was looking to make the switch. The next step was supposed to be an in-person 60-minute portfolio presentation/Q+A plus 2 60-minute design challenges. However, I didn't hear from the recruiter (who had said emailed me, but I didn't receive anything in my inbox). Instead, the interview was changed to a phone interview with a design lead. I went over my portfolio and the demands of the position. I later had 2 in-person interviews -- one was panel-style, and the other split into two interviews. Everyone I talked to was very nice and professional.
In the end, I was extended an offer and accepted. Can't wait to be a part of the team!

the process was an casual but informative discussion, the interviewer was very polite and enthusiastic and was receptive of any questions and concerns. It took about 10-15 minutes , the interviewer explained the mission of the company, where the company is headed towards and asked how I feel about joining such a company.
