I began the interview process on December 19, 2016. I was contacted by an employee requesting a Google video chat to discuss the position details. After this initial interview, I was asked to come in on December 21st for an in-person interview. I met with the same employee who I had spoken with via Google chat and an employee who currently held the position I was interviewing for. I was then scheduled for another Google video chat with a member of their executive leadership team at one of their California locations. It was an informal, pleasant conversation where I reviewed my qualifications and answered questions about where I grew up, siblings, etc. At this point, I felt pretty confident about being offered this position, but had not received any confirmation yet. I was contact again to come in for one final interview with two other potential coworkers that, if I accepted this position, I would be managing. I spent about an hour going over my qualifications, work and leadership style, and reciprocating questions. I was then shown around the front desk, given a hands-on review of the programs used on a day-to-day basis, and introduced to various employees. I left that final interview feeling pretty confident in being selected, but alas never heard a thing. There was no follow up, no canned e-mail stating they'd selected someone more qualified...nothing. I have since taken a position with another company, and about three months later (March 2017), I received an e-mail from someone at Wework requesting a 30 minute video conference for a position they think I'd be a great fit for. I politely declined.
