Lot's of "behavioral" questions and some advanced tech that seemed like they randomly pulled with from an A+ manual. Recruiter who called me never introduced himself on the phone. I guess these "Google" type casual offices are the new thing, not much professionalism. One day the recruiter calls, telling me how awesome I did. A few days later he calls (I had to ask who it was, again) and stuttering and apologetic. Asked for an email/letter as to why I wasn't selected (Usual Dear John would be fine). The whole process was just extremely weird, sitting in an office and over a poor video link, getting interview questions from Boston. I usually just shrug and move on but I actually complained about the process to someone higher up at WayFair. (Something as simple as managing an applicant's expectations would be a nice thing for the recruiters to learn.) I managed to find out why I wasn't selected, among the reasons was they 'felt I couldn't handle a call center's volume of support' ...yet my experience was from a call center 3 times bigger! No where did they ask for references or seem to make any effort to get to know me or my background.
I've heard very bad and some good about this company, so I am not terribly upset about not getting the job....or at least an offer. Just disappointed at their interview process and their lack of communicating properly with an applicant. Or doing something as basic as looking at/speaking to references.

The process is simple and short, one phone call and an in person meeting. Their testing is very simple, they hire on personality and diversity over achievement and skills. You will not wait long for an offer after the in person interview.
