Contacted by a recruiter for an HR screening. The HR interview consisted of explaining my experience and two questions to gauge my Excel/SQL skills. A second phone interview was set up with two Operations managers. The interview consisted of a brief discussion about my interest in the position, the role, and my experience. They then jumped into a mini-case. The second interview was very abrupt and one of the managers seemed totally disinterested. Did not receive an invite to the third step in the interview process but the recruiter contacted me about a different position.

1. What macros would you use to calculate revenue if given two sheets of data; Sheet 1=skus, price, sheet 2=skus, amount sold.
2. Same question as above, with SQL.
Case Interview:
1. What costs go into quoting a shipping price?
2. With excel, how would you go about verifying and identifying discrepancies in shipping data?
Technical assessment and then a technical case interview. Excel questions on typical supply chain metrics, calculations. I believe these are typical terms and function that you should know with basic finance, supply chain, or microeconomics knowledge.

Process took 8 weeks. A lot of errors with scheduling; occasionally took 2~ weeks to schedule an interview via their virtual scheduler and they had a lot of internal miscommunication, which left me in the dark. Waited for an email after my final round, I get it a few days later and was told they had actually already filled the position before my interview was held. I was then told to apply for another position I was well suited for. I was told I could skip the process and head to the final round, but they quickly changed their mind. I asked for feedback and the reasoning as to why I wasn't chosen but was ghosted. Was an arduous process.

I had a 30-minute phone call with the recruiter, during which I provided detailed explanations of my relevant projects, highlighting responsibilities, challenges, and measurable outcomes while structuring my responses clearly in the STAR format.
