Got a random interview almost 2 weeks before the summer internship and got a final round. Got rejected. I think they really care about your soft skills, especially communication. Also they care if you know their values and culture etc.

No pre-screener... submitted my application and 2 months later got an email from the hiring manager to schedule an interview. Two weeks later I was hired, less than a month before the role started.
