      A positive experience where I received quick responses throughout and was accommodated at multiple points. ====== [1] Screening call with a developer ====== [2] Take home challenge: quite a long one but I appreciated the honesty about its duration (estimated time of 1 day but took about 6 hours in total) and unlike smaller challenges it allowed the opportunity to experiment with an interesting solution. The expectation is that this is completed within a week but due to a personal situation I requested and was granted an extension. ====== [3] Technical rundown of coding challenge: With several devs from the team, I talked through my solution and the things I'd improve. It was hard to gauge how well this went during it but they seemed to appreciate my notes of the process. ====== [4] Onsite final exec level interview: Due to some miscommunications, I missed messages about rescheduling this but they were very accommodating and adapted to the situation. This was a more general chat and more about me asking questions than anything else. Offer was received within one day and they communicated very clearly throughout. Process took 5 weeks but this was in large part due to me having delays on my end. ====== ====== The only reason I rejected the offer was because I received an offer from another company that more directly aligned with the work I want to do next in my career. Had I not received both so close together I would have accepted. The offer seemed very generous on the whole.

      Pregunta 1

      Coding challenge: building out a mock website from a Figma spec with some UI and API interactions which need to adhere to a set of rules. Nothing especially complex but enough pieces to it that you could easily overcomplicate it. If in doubt I would recommend verifying an MVP with them prior to starting rather than assuming additional functionality that isn't required.

      The manual process was based on a few steps: - approach an HR person to discuss the position - conversation with stakeholders to understand the challenges and a little about the candidate's trajectory - after this, a technical case is sent, given a few days for resolution and then a presentation conversation is scheduled - and finally conversations about cultural fit. In general, communication was a problem, because I was not updated about the selection process. At the end of the process, they told me that I would receive a proposal in a few days and it was never made, and I never received any feedback about the process in general.
