I recently had an interview with Vista Projects and want to share my experience, particularly regarding their unique interview format. The interview was conducted through a one-way video recording platform, and I found the process quite challenging and, honestly, a bit annoying.
The format involved answering six questions, each with a strict one-minute response limit and only a single attempt allowed. To me, it felt more like a language proficiency test than a true assessment of my fit for the role. Here were the questions:
1. What do you know about Vista Projects?
2. What do you bring to the table that other candidates don’t?
3. What is a missing technical skill you think you have?
4. What is your most significant accomplishment in your past job?
5. Describe a situation in which you suggested a solution that led to results.
6. Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
While I understand the need for efficient interviewing methods, this format felt impersonal and didn’t seem to effectively gauge how well a candidate would fit into the role or the company culture. It lacked the interactive aspect of a traditional interview, where you can gauge reactions and adjust your responses accordingly.
For those preparing for an interview with Vista Projects, be aware of this format and practice concise, focused answers within a one-minute timeframe. Despite the format, try your best to convey not just your qualifications, but also your personality and how you would be a great fit for the team.

Multistage interview process with HR, Mechanical Management, & CEO. Questions were focused on work history, with some detailed questions regarding basic knowledge of equipment and valves. Interview with CEO was more of a personality review before hiring.
