Phone call answer coding interview. Very basic phone call it's standard questions. Coding interview consisted of building an interface from an API endpoint. Not much else. Was happy but after coding challenge the recruiter never got back to me and had to hear from my friend who was an employee that I was rejected

Had initially call with recruiter, then scheduled a Google Hangout call with a developer on their team. Everyone seemed nice. The questions weren't your typical leetcode, they focused on your knowledge of vanilla JavaScript. Be sure to brush up on closure, function calls using call/apply, and intervals. I answered all the questions correctly (with a lot of time to spare) and the interviewer seemed happy with my answers, however I still got a rejection email without any explanation. The interviewer was not very engaging during the call and at the end he seemed annoyed answering questions. He did not look excited or happy to be working there at all (by the way he described the company and culture). Probably dodged a bullet there.
