1st stage call with CEO, sounds like a sales pitch more than anything. Limits you to a strict 30 minutes so you can't really ask many questions. Very one sided. 2nd stage is a tech test, nothing too difficult. Take home coding. 3rd stage is a face to face VC. 45 minutes only at stage three which is limited, and only served to have 15 minutes of questions, after time. Making you feel like you are intruding. CEO came across as junior and arrogant, asking open questions that didn't really have a place in his company, nothing of substance to understand the person, just clique questions from a uni book. Terribly inexperienced interviewer. CEO gets up after his questions and leaves the CTO and I on call! Can be seen wrapping his charger up and leaving the room, the guy then says, sorry he's battery went dead. Even if that's the case, how disrespectful must you be to not charge a laptop pre a meeting where someone is deciding a life choice for themselves? Prior to that the CEO starts viciously typing mid interview distracting it. Unprofessional. Honestly not a good experience, totally throws you off thought process. CTO was more direct, friendly and focused. Fourth is a final in their office. Disappointly, you'll receive feedback in a throw away fashion and feel as if time has been wasted. They have no respect for the candidates time in my view.

1st stage - Informal chat with the CEO General chat about myself, my background, interests and why I chose to apply. CEO was very friendly and casual, made me feel at ease. Was given information about the company, it's history and main goals. Had the opportunity to ask questions about Verticode. 2nd stage - Technical Task Was asked to a very simple project board in my preferred architecture and had free reign on the styling. Took ~4 hours 3rd stage - Video interview with CEO and CTO More focused questions on my soft skills from CEO. Then technical background questions from the CTO followed by a detailed discussion about my technical task submission. Both were professional, friendly and seemed genuinely excited and passionate about the work that they do. They were very forthcoming with answering all the questions I had about the day to day running of the company and the development team. 4th stage - Meet the team in the office (very casual, no assessment) A chance to meet the development team and see the office and working environment
