Initial interview with the recruiter as I was referred by an existing employee that seemed to love the place. Spoke about the role, measurements, partners, etc. as well as comp range. Was emailed on comp "Could have some flexibility on that but probably not much. Equity included as well." He also took me through the process which would include a presentation and ultimately onsite meeting on the West coast prior to hire. I decided to proceed regardless of the horrendous Glassdoor reviews. About a week later spoke with the hiring mgr. Much of the interview was questioning me on the channel program at my past employer, Seemed more interested in getting info out of me rather than really discussing the role. This person was a new manager. About a week later was scheduled with the Hiring Mgr's boss. We had a detailed discussion on the role and my approach to building pipeline and establishing relationships. About a week later I was able to speak again with the recruiter to discuss the comp and other benefits as it seemed like comp would be a sticking point for them. Was told there really was no flexibility on comp and that's what was budgeted. I asked again about benefits to understand the overall potential package and was sent a doc outlining them. The presentation was about a week later with the previous two in which I interviewed previously along with a field sales leader. About 2 weeks later I spoke with the Head of Global Channels. He indicated comp was an issue. I was not invited to an in person meeting. Pretty strange process. I did not even have a chance to talk with peers, or other leaders which is customary and the folks I would interface with primarily. Over 8 weeks to find out they went another direction? Not much in the way of input and follow-up through the process via Verkada. Would have appreciated more transparency and follow-up. Could have cut my loses earlier had I know they already made their choice and felt I was not the right candidate. Not a difficult process but more time consuming.

My lead HR contact was Sam Jaggi. He was very professional and organized. It was a pleasure working with him. He gave amazing feedback, made sure I was prepared before every interaction/call, and was constantly communicating with me and letting me know next steps. This is the most professional interview process I’ve ever been to.
1) I had a call with Sam and we validated my skills and expectations.
2) Second call was with the Enterprise lead. He deep dived more in my sales experience and my career.
3) Third Call was with the Head of worldwide channels. He deep dived into my career and experience
4) Fourth Call was a business case presentation for the lead sales team
5) was a call with the VP of sales. We discussed about my experience and made me questions about “what would I do” in certain situations
