The first call was a screen with the recruiter and then a call with the hiring manager. The recruiter I worked with was great! Very helpful and gave me pointers for the hiring manager call. Unfortunately, as soon I told the hiring manager my background, I immediately knew I was not going to move forward. He was looking for someone who DID NOT have my specific background, which is okay. I could tell immediately that he was not interested in anything I had to say after that lol.
