Entrevista
When I was applying I was looking for a very detailed experience on Glassdoor so I knew what to expect, I didn't find too much so I decided to log my own experience below in detail. I hope it helps you!
6/4- I applied online through Verizon's job site
6/17- I got an email from HR wanting to set up a phone interview with me
6/25- Phone interview with HR. She went over my resume and explained the position in more detail to make sure it was something that I was still interested in.
6/27- In person interview with an Assistant Manager (I guessed his role, but I do know that he is in charge of some of the Sales Representaives. During this interview I went over my resume with him, he explained more about the company (pros and cons, so you know what you're getting into with long retail hours), and his personal experience. He then had me sale something to him, he said it would be an idea or product. He also asked me a lot of "give me an example when" types questions, also referred to as STAR (google it).
7/1- In person interview with the Store Manager. I was told that it would be a more relaxed interview with no "Tell me of a time when" questions. When I arrived however the store manager didn't seem very friendy at all, it felt more like an interrogation. He wanted to make sure that if he invested the money in hiring me then I would leave in a few months so I stayed calm and explained to him that I was a very dedicated person.
7/4- In person interview with the District Manager. He explained that he liked to meet and talk with candidates before they were hired, but he didn't make the final decision that was left up to the Store Manager. He asked me to walk him through my resume and asked a few questions. He then told me about his experience at Verizon and asked me "why Verizon". I explained it was a company in which I felt I could grow both personally and professionally and that with my degree I was perfect for the position. He always wanted to make sure I was committed and knew what I was getting into with the mostly commission-based job and retail hours. I was told to expect a call from HR early next week.
7/7- I received a call from HR with an offer, which I accepted an hour or so later. I then received an email with congratulations in it and a link to fill out an online checklist. The checklist consisted of digitally signing the offer, giving consent for a background check and having a drug test done. I did them all that day because I was eager to get started.
7/10- I received a call from HR letting me know my background check cleared and that I could attend a two day orientation next week. It's located out of state, but still within driving distance so they are getting me a hotel room for the one night.
Hope this helps!!

I applied online and passed the online assessment, I then did a video interview and after had to wait a while until I was contacted for a job offer. The interview consisted of STAR scenario questions which were all fairly easy. Once I got the offer they started the background check which took 8 days to clear.

There were three parts to my hiring process. 1. The recruiter called me and asked me questions. 2. I spoke to the Assistant Manager. They asked me standard questions and we role-played a standard sale. 3. I did an in-person interview with the General Manager. We also did a role-play as well. BE PREPARED FOR THAT.
