I interviewed for a corrugated specialist role with Veritiv last year. I was called / scheduled for interviews 4 different times and those interviews took place in 3 different cities (Denver, Stockton, Fresno). I met with 6 managers from several different divisions. I was told that if I didn't receive the position I was interviewing for there was still going to be a position for me because I was an elite candidate. After the 4th interview I was told it was going to take some time to put a package together and to get everything in place. After a month I still had not heard from them. After several attempts to contact the people I had met with I was never extended the courtesy of a response. I found out for myself that the position(s) had been filled. I consider it to be very unprofessional that I was treated this way after I spent a lot of time and money attending these interviews as only one of them was in my hometown.
