It was a 4 stage interview.
1st stage - vetted by the recruiter, ca 20min conversation
2nd stage - face to face with the recruiting manager. A fairly friendly and semi casual conversation based around experience, education and previous experience. Standard interview technique as expected.
3rd stage - face to fae with the managing director. This was definitely a level up from the previous conversation, a more testing and probing style of interviewing. In addition, there was a role play scenario. This involved pretending to cold call the managing director to connect and seek out any current or future recruitment opportunities.
4th stage - If the candidate is considered for the role, this stage involves meeting the team in a casual setting, a pub or a bar. If the team approve the candidate receives a formal offer

DODGED A BULLET, she was so rude I referenced the job Venn group website that Venn group is a New expanding company and was told “it definitely wasn’t it’s been open 25 years” and that I had no idea what a recruitment consultant was 😂 never mind she was late calling and left me speaking to myself for 3 minutes straight with no response or sign she was listening !
Thank god.
