I had at least 4 round of interviews, with manager, with team member, then QA director, then VP. Each round spend me at 1 hour. The disgusting me is that VP look at the resume asked me and notice that I was off job for a few months during the pandemic. She asked me why I worked for QA field for so many years and still a QA, and didn't get the promotion. Obviously she is an Indian and treat me like from a lower caste, We are in Canada, I am not Indian these words offended me。 Latterly I got the call from manager and said that they only can offer Senior QA role, The full time role is not existing any more due to head count, They only can offer me 6 months contractor role, The pay will be the full time pay convert from annual income to hour rate. Obviously the VP only wants to hire Indian. I will never apply any QA job from this company.
