Attended one techincal round and then the first round itself was a salary discussion round and They had a very tight budget which is not even 40% of my current salary, so could not proceed. The manager was not even open for discussion in any case. Good thing that they discussed it in first round itself and did not waste time But if you have such budget the recruiter should not contact you in first place and if contacted should ask the candidate if they are okay joining with less than 40% of hike
