I had two fairly comprehensive interviews via Zoom with different members of their team. Things seemed to be going well and it felt like they were interested in me. Sadly this company ghosted me and after taking the time to research and write an article for them, I never heard back. It was a disappointing experience to say the least.

I participated in the first three rounds of the interview process (interview with a talent specialist, then the hiring manager, then the first round of written samples), but at this point I was warned that there were still another 3-4 steps to go. A 7-step interview process for a mid-level job feels really excessive, especially given the amount of time and effort needed for the written tasks, so I withdrew. The people I spoke to at Veeva were really nice and I liked the look of the job, but they could really do with revisiting their interview process, as it sounds like a lot of people withdraw upon hearing how many hoops you're expected to jump through.
