If you're considering an interview with the data science team in San Jose, I’d suggest approaching with caution. My overall experience with the process was underwhelming, primarily due to the conduct of one of the interviewers.
The process started with an initial screening with a recruiter, followed by two more rounds—one with a team member and another with the hiring manager. The fourth stage was a CodeSignal assessment featuring relatively simple LeetCode-style problems. The final step was a panel interview, which included five back-to-back interviews covering statistics, machine learning, and behavioral topics. While most of the interviewers were respectful and professional, one stood out for being unclear and somewhat condescending, which negatively impacted the experience.
I reached out twice before the panel interview to ask for details about its format, but received no reply from the recruiting team, which was disappointing.
