I was contacted initially by an in house recruiter via LinkedIn, after a brief telephone conversation a call was arranged with one of the sales managers, the call went well and a further call was arranged with another one of the sales managers, again this call went well and I was invited in for a face to face interview with both sales managers and the regional head, whilst polite and friendly the interview didn't go that well and I'm happy to admit I wasn't at my best. At the end of the interview one of the managers told me they'd get back to me in 24 hours, also following the interview the in house recruiter got in touch to get my feedback and let me know they would be in touch with next steps within 48 hours. So far so good. I followed up with an email thanking them for their time and the opportunity to meet them and over a week and a half later have had nothing back, I appreciate that they are probably all busy people but having taken the time to do three phone calls as well as the time and money involved in a face to face the simple courtesy of a sorry your not for us would have been appreciated, rather than silence.
