A Product Manager called. We had a detailed conversation in regards to my background and the role. Given Covid19, the entire interview process was expected to be remote. Overall the interview ended on a good note and I was told I'd hear back by the end of the week.
However, the recruiter/product manager never reached back with any guidance on the next steps/feedback - even after multiple emails.
While I'm ok with being rejected, it is poor HR/Recruitment practice to not respond to multiple emails with any form of updates or an outright rejection. It's important to call out companies that ghost potential hires as it is poor practice and it reflects on the firm's culture as employees/potential employees are disposable.
