I received a phone call from a recruiter asking what time I could do a phone interview. I gave them a time on a date they suggested and they told me that the hiring manager would give me a call. Then they sent me a confirmation email about the scheduled phone interview. When the hiring manager did call it was a pleasant enough interview and she told me afterwards that if I made it through to the second round I would get a call back later that day. I did receive a call from the first recruiter and they asked if I could come to one of their events and have an in-person interview. After researching the company and the potential salary I declined the second interview, politely. If I already lived in the Seattle area then I would've taken the job but otherwise I don't think that it would've paid enough for me to survive in that city.
