Phone interview with Art Director answering various basic design and production questions. Invitation to interview with Art Director and Creative Director at office to review portfolio. Lunch meet & greet with the office. Then an offer for temporary contract "test-drive" or full-time position acceptance.

There is an informal phone interview which lasts about 30 minutes. I did mine while at the dog park. It must have worked out well, because I was called in the next day for an in-person interview (everyone at the office is dog lovers). The in-person interview lasted about an hour. They asked the normal questions about design, my processes, thoughts, and reasoning. They also did hypothetical questions to see how you handle working with clients.
