I submitted my application, immediately received a reply to set up an interview over the phone. Replied to confirm, didn't hear anything back... weird from what I know of this particular UW. To confirm our meeting, I sent an email the day before our meeting- still, no reply. The morning of my interview I called right away in the morning and left a message for the contact person, again, to confirm our meeting. Then, 45 minutes AFTER our scheduled time I received a call from a person in HR (not my contact) to apologize for not getting back to me. Apparently, my emails were going to their spam folder. It was clear she was flustered and scrambling to get settled in to talk with me. During my interview it was clear she hadn't read my cover letter or reviewed my resume. I got an email 2 weeks later saying they were not going to hire for the position because they were revamping the development department.
