Initial communication from field recruiter was professional + polished. Later followed by in-depth phone screens + a video conference before my 2-day interview in Baltimore. Entire panel of HR partners + recruiters clearly communicated their functions + needs - HOWEVER - surprisingly - the moment I was alone with individual team members - except for two - the backstabbing ensued. Despite their flawless execution of calendaring + complete itinerary management - I completely lost interest in a FT position at UA. I met with several senior leaders + delivered my candid feedback (as a consultant, that's what I'm paid to do) + frankly stated that Talent Acquisition requires major improvement - which explains their lackluster - twice-launched footwear business. The feedback I received from the recruiter was "the executives felt attacked by my recommendations." True, unbiased, expert opinion is not welcome here - which explains to me the palpable dissent across employees as I toured their facilities for 2 days. They did an AMAZING job at courting me - but keep in mind - if you work at UA - you will likely be expected to keep quiet.
