Applied online 1- 10-14.Took the online personality assessment and immediately was invited to take the 473 exam. Took 473 on 1-16-14. Scored 78.3. Called in for an interview @ local PO on 2-21-14. Interview went fairly well. OIC told me that if I got an email for drug screen I probably had the job but I should also apply to other Post Offices nearby, which I did.

All the questions were fairly easy. What to do with irate customers etc. Took Drug test on 3-21-14. Still no word from first PO. Was called in for 2 more interviews at different PO's. One on 4-8 and one on 4-9. Offer EXT on 4-11 from 4-8 interview. Accepted offer and start orientation on 5-5-14.

Take a month to get an interview but keep an eye on your email. You will have to accept their email. After that you will be taking a online test then you need to do a background and drug test.

Long and drawn out. It took weeks and a test to even be considered which is excessive in my opinion. It could be shorter. The test took over an hour alone.
Not hard, basically stuff you have to fill out the paper work and questions wait anywhere between 1 to 2 weeks to hear from than another 2 to 4 weeks to be hired.
