Interview consisted of face to face with the postmaster of the station I applied to, along with the postmaster of another station on the phone. The one on the phone asked all the questions and he was very personable. After I would answer his questions, he would tell me why this question was asked and how it pertained to the position, so it gave me an inside look as to what he was looking for in my answers. Some questions he asked were: Are you a perfectionist? How do you handle change? Is your schedule flexible? Have you had a job where you were on a tight time line? How do you deal with customers that have problems?
