Went through a 1:1 interview with a recruiter to go over my career goals and work ethic. After being hired I went to a introduction training class on proper safety and more information about what I would be doing. The culture is basically like a big family. Everything is team oriented.
Easy and quick, hired with 10 other people. Watched a video related to the work and did a tour of the building. After that we were given a probationary period and start date if we decided to continue with the position.
I had to lift 50lbs. Watch a film on the correct way to load a truck and the correct way to lift without hurting your back lockout procedures what to do in case of an emergency

The interview process conducted at ups located in edison NJ was fairly simple and easy for the job as a loader/unloader. They just asked for my past experiences and other things like if i can carry over 50lbs.
