Applied via LinkedIn and a few weeks later, i received what appeared to be an automated email, but contained an email address from the recruiter, and essentially was inviting me to a phone interview. The email also stated 'someone will be in contact with you to schedule an interview.' In addition, the email referenced attachments to review, one containing the official job desc, the other some basic behavioral based int questions. Well, neither of those were attached. And, no one ever called to set up an interview. I emailed the recruiter, and long story short, it took about 2 weeks to finally get something set up. I also requested the attachments to the initial email. They were never provided. Prior to the actual interview, I received another email inviting me to interview...the exact same email...again, no attachments! We finally had the interview, lasting about 30/40 min, basic questions, behavioral-based mostly. She was nice, for the most part, and said I would hear back, either by phone or email, with an outcome. I also sent a 'thank-you' email following the interview. Well...no email and no call! So... I emailed the recruiter asking for an update more than a week after. Of course, no reply! I was ghosted. Get it together please! It's disrespectful to say the least.
