They first ask me to fill out an application, which had around 6 questions to answer. After they review it, they might invite you to an interview and ask tons of additional questions. Though there were just basic behavioral questions, there were just a lot. And the process lack of interaction, they just threw question to you and wait for your response.

Chatted with professor, asked me about my knowledge of cryoEM and my time commitment within the lab. Was relatively chill and gauged more of personality and dedication to research. Nothing too serious
First round is zoom coffee chat, get to know your background and how your interest align, asked some technical questions, second round is a presentation, demonstrate your knowledge of the lab to make sure you know what you will be dealing with.
