I filled out an online application and received a phone call the next day to schedule a phone interview. I took part in a phone interview and received an email a couple of days later telling me that my application was not moving forward. Pros- They will email you and let you know that you will not be moving forward fairly quickly. Cons- The major con is that I realized that the person interviewing me on the phone knew nothing about the job role. I believe it was an HR middleman. The BIGGEST flaw I see with this is that typing out the answers that I give to my questions and then taking it to third-party results in nothing but LOST IN TRANSLATION. Candidates who are selected for a phone interview should at least be interviewed by people who are familiar with the job role so they can decide whether or no I should move forward. I was qualified for the position but this whole thing about a random person typing out the answers to behavioural questions is a BAD IDEA. Not taking into consideration that this person seemed least interested in doing their own job. If Twin Eagle wants to hire good candidates then they need to take the time to put people who are familiar with the job role in the interviewer's seat.
