Tulip has a great platform and a strong value proposition in the manufacturing space. The interviewers were pleasant to speak with. However, the interview process felt poorly coordinated. I was advanced to a hiring manager round, and the interview ended with explicit confirmation that I was advancing to the case study stage. Hours later, I received a generic rejection email. Upon asking for clarification, I was told I lacked the specific hands-on manufacturing background they needed. It is frustrating to be rejected for a lack of experience that was transparently clear on my resume from the very beginning. It felt like a disorganized use of everyone's time. I would be nice if they do ensure their resume screening process matches the actual requirements of the hiring managers. Giving candidates false verbal confirmations on a call is unprofessional and creates a poor candidate experience.
