      Solicité el puesto a través de un captador. El proceso duró 4 semanas. Acudí a una entrevista en TryHackMe (Londres, Inglaterra) en mar 2024

      Entrevista

      I was contacted by a recruiter. They asked for a pre-recorded video interview and I declined. Several days later, they came back and said that I could have an interview with a real person instead. Unfortunately, it was as bad as a pre-recorded video interview. The interviewer was just reading some questions off a sheet, while taking notes. I did not get a chance to interview them, so to speak, to get to know them, to understand the role, what it is I will be doing and so on. Why would I want to work for them??? Subsequently, I was asked to answer some technical questions on Hackerrank. I accepted with some hesitation, mostly out of curiosity about the technical challenge. Suffice it to say that it was not a challenge. The questions were very easy, certainly not at the level I was applying for, which made me quite suspicious. Here I was dealing with a company that was wasting my time. They did not know what they were looking for and they did not know how to interview. The technical questions were for a developer with two years of experience max, not for a senior engineer. I asked for feedback many times, never heard back from them. A total waste of time.
