The first two rounds were quick and straightforward. The third was the real issue.
They ask you to identify a problem on their portal and bring a solution — already a HUGE red flag.
I did it anyway, thoroughly. When I asked about my process (because that's what actually reflects a designer's thinking), they said they liked it — but wanted more screens. More unpaid work, essentially, with no guarantee it changes anything.
I followed up for formal feedback after the rejection. Ghosted.
Get designers to do unpaid strategic work, evaluate the output instead of the thinking, then disappear.
