Initial communication is always a standard application with multiple essays and personal statements regarding one's faith, one's scholarship, and perspective on teaching. These are fairly standard for a private Christian educational institution. The distinguishing feature is the discussion of the application of the particularly Reformed perspective in teaching and scholarship. A search committee is then formed who will review your application and communicate with one via email. An initial phone interview with the committee is scheduled and undertaken. The committee will then invite the candidate on campus to teach a class, meet the department and interview with them, and to field questions from an open faculty panel.

While the school opens it doors to many, there are sociological values that were specifically questioned and clearly there was a correct answer for.
