I was contacted by a headhunter for an executive position. I submitted an CV and list of references. I first particpated in a 45 minute phone interview with the headhunter that intially contacted me. The following week I had a skype interview with another member of the search firm. That lead to a third skype interview with the headhunter that served as more of an opportunity for him to gather personal information that would be used in a candidate profile that was submited to Trillion. Three weeks later I was flown to Birmingham for an interview with the search committee made up from members of the board of directors. It was a tough interview, but went very well. I was told by the head hunter that I would hear from them within two weeks. I never heard from them again.
