      Entrevista

      I interviewed for a Software Engineering position in the San Diego area. The process was overall straight forward. I had an initial phone screen, followed by a technical phone interview, and finally an onsite. I was interviewed by two Software Engineers at the onsite. They were both very knowledgable and asked a broad range of difficult technical questions during the interview. Pros: As a member of the developer community, I appreciated them walking me through the areas I was stuck during the coding part. The two Engineers were professional and coached me in areas that I was missing the mark. Cons: Not really a con. The position I interviewed for was 0-5 years(entry to senior). I thought my experience, educational background, and solid performance would fall somewhere in that range at least. Apparently, that was not the case. However, they are more Senior Software Engineers and I trust their judgment. I will have to work much harder and grow more to be considered entry level in my industry. Advice: My advice to future candidates is bring your A game.. well A+ game. It is difficult and they do their due diligence in choosing candidates. Overall, I enjoyed the process and have respect for this company and its engineering team. They are also building software that is making a difference in the world. Best of luck to those who come after me!

      Entrevista

      The process was straight forward and took about 2 weeks to complete. I went through: - 1 Phone call w/ HR - non-technical - 1 Phone call w/ hiring manager - technical and behavioral - 1 Interview w/ 3 software engineers - technical Everyone involved was friendly and informative. The final interview consisted of random trivia questions about programming and then a coding challenge. There were three engineers present for the last interview, but only one spoke. They let me know I did not receive the job very quickly, however, they did not provide any feedback for me.

      Entrevista

      I had a phone screen call with their Talent Acquisition Specialist, after that a phone technical interview with the Software Engineer Manager of the team that was looking for the new developer. Until that point everything was very professional, but when I had the interview in person, the 2 guys that interviewed were not prepared at all. It looked like they didn't know what to ask, and it really surprised me when I knew that they have been in charge of other interviews from a long time ago. For the code test they gave me a computer and they didn't know the password, they didn't have in time the projector so after waiting a while they said I could start coding on the computer. While I was coding they were muttering, but what bothered me is that it seem like they didn't have a genuine interest on the solution that I came with/ my thinking process/ or on finding if I was a good candidate. After that I had another small interview, again with the Manager of the team, this time to know a little more about myself.

      I just had some basic .NET questions during the phone interview. The questions of the two guys on the in-person interview were really random about my previous jobs/positions.
