The interview was clumsy. Too many rounds for no good reason. Demotivated interviewing panel trying to wind up the interview on a weekend. Despite answering the questions promptly, they just reiterated how I do not have the exposure on the exact open source schedulers and tools they use in their work.I have worked on open source stuff but not the exact matching ones.They hardly put the effort to evaluate if the person has the caliber to pick up on their tools. Then comes a semi technical guy giving a pep talk on how the Indexing and Partitioning on tables are costly and how should we all head towards open Souce tools. I did not care enough to correct his technical misconceptions. They should do a Telephonic round to evaluate the mutual fit instead of sloppy 4 rounds of technical discussion on a weekend. HR could some effort to be professional;does not harm much! oh ya, I just loved their office space a lot.

I have an upcoming HR call with three rounds of interviews. The first round will focus on SQL and PySpark skills, while the second round will cover data modeling concepts. I'm preparing for these topics.
