5 Interviews spanning 3 months. I was told I was "too chatty", "no personality", "not assertive", and that I should let the person interviewing me take the lead and only make succinct answers to the questions. They also told me I should be "bubbly". These comments were relayed to me by the recruiter and she said they were comments made by Transamerica. HR person told me herself that I should let the person interviewing me take the lead, which seems to contradict her telling the recruiter that I was "not assertive". HR also told the recruiter that I was "too chatty" which also seems to contradict the "no personality" comment that she also made. They told the recruiter they agreed that I have all the experience and expertise they wanted but they declined to offer me the position because of my "not assertive" and "no personality". Be prepared for an extremely long interview process that spans several months, many phone conversations, phone interviews,, and three in-person interviews. Be sure to be extremely assertive, very bubbly, and smile alot. If you know about basic web analytics you'll get the position. Be sure to talk about making the website user-friendly and improving the user-experience.
