Entrevista
Apply online and get phone call from HR about 5 days later. Briefly review my resume and ask some questions such as how much compensation I expected (it was a surprise), why TransUnion, what statistical analysis I have done, if handled multiple projects before, personal weakness... Then said the review will be sent to HR manager for further consideration. Then about two weeks later, receive an email saying no further consideration.
HR woman is very nice and friendly! Even though it stopped at phone interview, I was happy since at least TransUnion looked at my application and resume.
Actually, I have a question whether our applications really reach to HR or the department who is hiring. It seems all applications are handled by a third party. Probably only some applications can go through the third-party system and arrive at the hiring company. If it is true, is it a waste for both applicants and hiring companies?

HR reached out and calendared an interview, I showed up, and he was nowhere to be found. I double checked to ensure it was not a scamI sent a follow-up and received no response but the job has been reposted. I think the recruiters may just fill their calendars with no intention to show up. Not a place I would want to work.

I recently went through the interview process at TransUnion, and overall, it was a satisfactory experience. The process was structured and organized, which made it relatively smooth.
The initial screening was handled professionally, and the recruiter provided clear instructions on the next steps. The interviews themselves were a mix of technical and behavioral questions. The interviewers were courteous and related to the role.
One area for improvement could be the speed of communication between the interview stages. There were a few instances where I felt the process was slightly prolonged. However, this did not significantly detract from the overall experience.
In summary, the interview process at TransUnion was quite decent. The team was respectful and the questions were appropriate, although a more streamlined timeline would enhance the experience.
