You need to be a professional dancer or have dance + fitness background. You learn extensive dance cardio and very difficult leg sequences. You then get a call back for another round and then you’ll see if you make it to the selection process. It’s really hot in here studio by the way.

So at the audition everyone gets a number. At my audition we did arms for like 15 minutes and followed the instructor, then we all learned one simple dance and broke into groups and performed it without being guided (they did count us in) and then everyone does that. At the end we did a freestyle to show our personality for like 8 counts. Then after everyone goes you learn the second dance, rinse and repeat (no freestyle this time). Then after they go around and ask you to say something about yourself that they can record. Then comes to the leg sequence, the mat workout. For some reason we didn’t use any weights at all, i think it was to make sure to see if we could hit the lines. Then they told us that the training postion is paid, three months, four hours a day, so that was cool. You get liberal time off to pursue your career if you’re a professional dancer. Music is important to the classes always have to have lit playlists and what not. There is no real speaking portion you just like have to perform the method well and then I guess you’re good. They said not everyone makes it through training, some people’s bodies cant handle the constant physical demands, or something comes up or they are let go (maybe they have a hard time once the weights are added). they are looking mostly for people who can do it all, dance, muscular, etc. *****not everyone has a dance background, just 95%, the trainer brought up one employee who used to be a swimmer and then a fitness instructor**** My advice: learn arms, learn a dance (check her YouTube or something), prepare for the heat and cardio more than muscular training
